Directions On How To Finds The Majors
From the North and South of England:
Take junction no. 8 off the M40 Motorway, which is sign posted A418 – Aylesbury & Thame. Follow the road for three miles to the Thame roundabout and go straight across to the next roundabout, this is approximately one mile and take the second exit which is sign posted A418 Aylesbury / Haddenham / Thame Park. Continue up hill for ¾ mile and take the right hand fork which is sign posted Haddenham. Keep on this road past the railway station on the left and go through four priority crossings, turn immediately right after the fourth crossing. (Before the Rising Sun Pub) This is Townside. “The Majors” is ½ mile down on the left hand side, please look for a courtyard entrance, which has a large sliding slatted gate painted green and black. There is off the road parking in the courtyard.
From the North East or Aylesbury Directions:
From Aylesbury take the A418 sign posted Oxford/Thame, approximately 1 ½ miles ahead turn left immediately after the Bugle Horn Pub, which is sign posted Haddenham. Keep on this road to a series of mini roundabouts, go straight ahead through one priority crossing and past a bank of shops on the right. Follow the road around past the House of Spice Restaurant on the right and turn immediately left into Townside after the Rising Sun Pub on the left. “The Majors” is ½ mile down on the left hand side, please look for a courtyard entrance, which has a large sliding slatted gate painted green and black. There is off the road parking in the courtyard.
